Bible Study Classes
Sunday School - 9:30 pm
The overall theme for this Winter Quarter is Preparation of Jesus’ Disciples. A disciple (Google) is a follower or student of a teacher, leader, or philosopher. Knowing that Jesus is so much more than a teacher, leader, and or philosopher this period of preparation will be unique to say the least. Unit I: The theme for the month of December 2020 is Getting Started. We will start with The Testimony of John in which he will introduce through his proclamation who Jesus is. With the magnitude of such a proclamation it wouldn’t be anything short of a blessing to be Jesus’ First Disciples and to recognize that He is The Word that Became Flesh, then for Him to select you to be on His team as we will see in Jesus Calls Philip and Nathaniel. What a BLESSING!!!!! Unit II: The theme for this Month January 2021 is Getting to Know Jesus. The best way to learn of someone is to spend time with them. Well the disciples did just that and were rewarded with Jesus’ First Miracle. Then they witness how Jesus Walks on Water. All in preparation that they could understand that Jesus is The Bread of Life. Is this Jesus’ Hard Saying or do they need more teaching? We will find out. Unit III: The theme for this unit of February 2021 is Going Deeper with Jesus. We had in last month’s study the description that Jesus is the Bread of Life, well let’s add Jesus: The Light of the World. How does He shine in your life? Is he God in the flesh? If you believe Jesus’ Claim to Deity, then the answer will be YES! And if YES, the facts of Jesus Response to a Dire Need, Assurance of Victory Over Death and A Display of Divine Glory will be easy to digest. Get Educated, Get Active!!!!! See you in Sunday School! |
